In 2015 Ugly's got cooler and completely redesigned the interior. Where once an 18' U-shaped bar served patrons, a 43 foot long bar now awaits your order. The interior also boasts bar height and standard table top seating, plus with 8 televisions strategically placed around the inside, Ugly's how now become the place to be during football season... Actually, Ugly's is the place to be for any sporting event.

Not only did 2015 see the unveiling of a new Ugly's Grill and Bar, it also saw the grand opening of Ugly John's brand new Thunder Bay Marina Ship Store and Sales Office. The new ship store sets a new level of expectation for a water based facility. It also boasts the only, fully functional, 1950's era soda shop on the lake.
When we say fully functional we mean, fully functional. The centerpiece, a 1958 Bastion-Blessing Metropolitan, is capable of serving up the best malts, shakes, floats, sundaes, and sodas for miles around. Not only does this throw back to the golden era of dining serve up tasty, frosty treats, but you can also get what the locals refer to as a "Tuti Sandwich", or even enjoy a great breakfast buffet on the weekends.
Just because we now offer great amenities in our ship store doesn't mean we're not still selling our classic merchandise. We are constantly adding new items to our shelves, and those are just to complement the large selection of "Ugly" wear we keep in stock.
