"My wife and I brought our family up on the scenic lakes of Arizona. After the nest became empty we came to the country but were too busy to keep our boat and consequently sold it. Well that has changed again. After searching the internet for a long time, the boat we thought we might want we found at Ugly Johns. We met with Gary to look at it but don't-cha-know it is sold already. Being the professional, helpful salesman he is Gary presented us with options. To make a long story short, we now own more boat than we thought we ever would. Every associate we dealt with at Uglys was very helpful, courteous and friendly. Jared is helpful and accomodating in his management of the slips. Jim and Tim both spent time with us to fill us in on some of this boats systems and the care that they and the owner had provided. Thank you to all you guys. These are the qualities that led us to elect to keep it at Thunder Bay.
My experience with boats of any size is that ownership is only the beginning. There are always things to repair. Things to maintain. Things to add or change or upgrade. For these reasons the service department becomes the lifeline between the marina and vessel owners. My suggestion is to add Jim, Tim and the fellows to the Ugly Johns websight under Thunder Bay Crew. Now that the sale is done,the vessel is insured and has a load of fuel and a home these guys are most important to me and deserve the recognition.

"We bought a 2011 M5 from Jason at the Catossa store a couple of weeks ago. I just happened to stop by on my way to the lake and I'm really glad I did. He has helped us in a lot of different ways - We really appreciate all his hard work and honesty !!!! The mourning of July 4th. I was having a few problems with the boat and Jason and Adam was here in no time. Adam took the time on a holiday to come fix the problems and Jason was there to help out too !! It's great to know they are there to help !Not only have we found a great boat dealership the Marina and Grill & Bar are a GREAT place ! Everyone is so friendly and helpful ! A special Thanks to Emily for all her help !! We now look forward to cruising over for lunch or dinner on a regular basis. Thanks again to ALL of The Ugly Bunch !!!!!"

"We bought a 2011 M5 from Jason in Catoosa. The boat had low hours on it and needed a few minor things fixed. The morning of July 4Th . The boat had a few mechanical problems and Jason And Adam were here in no time. I'm really pleased with all that Jason has done for us and it's a great feeling to know there is Adam right around the corner. We love the boat and will always do our business at Ugly's !!!!"

"Just a quick note to let you know how pleased we are with the service we have received from Ugly John's!
Back in March, when I walked down the ramp to the sales center, and was greeted by Mark Barnes, everything has been great. Mark greeted me with sincerity and kindness, and made me feel welcome. Marak showed me some of the boats that I had marked from looking at your website, and when he showed the 42' cruiser...it was almost like love at first sight. My husband had been waiting in our vehicle, but I wanted him to see the boat too. As I went to get my husband, he bagan walking down the dock. Mark again showed the boat to my husband, we gave him our name and number and off we went with dreams of the boat in our head.
Fast forward to the present, and looking back we just want you to know how pleased we have been with the service and welcome we have received from Mark, Phil, Diane, Jeremy, Jim and others whose names I haven't quite remembered yet. Mark handled the entire acquisition of our boat with such ease, answering all our questions, showing us how to handle the boat, helping us with the "buggies", and more. Phil and Diane have also veen very helpful, as well as Jeremy. We really enjoyed the ease that the "finance guy" helped us with our financing for our boat.
All in all...we LOVE "Ugly John's, and our new boat (at least it's new to us)!

"We have (7) children so our lives are constantly on the go...so between football, soccer, baseball, track, basketball and cheerleading practices and games, really doesn't leave us much time for family sit-downs. Several years ago the BEST investment we made in our family was too buy a boat from Ugly Johns!!! The lake is the ONLY place we go that EVERYONE wants to be there at the same time, which is RARE when you have a large family; however, at the lake gives us that captive audience that we desperately wanted and needed to keep our kids close. Today so many kids want to go their own way but when you have a boat and more importanyly stay involved that don't mind as much to be with Mom and Dad at the lake! Also, thru the years we've found that quality time can only come from that quanity time! And for us Grand Lake provides those sit-down lunches and dinners to re-connect with our children PLUS allows us the HUGE benefit to get to know the kids better that they're hanging out with our children...because who doesn't want to bring their friends to the lake? (right) :) We've discovered by owning a boat that the REAL investment wasn't in the boat as it's a down payment for (FAMILY TIME)!!! "Kids will NEVER remember what you do for them but they will NEVER forget what you do WITH THEM"!!! Boating has been that turning point in our family and we hope it will do the same for yours!Thank you again to the ENTIRE staff at UGLY'S for ALWAYS making our family feel as though we're apart of yours! "I just wanted to say thanks to Jim, Mary and the service team. Over the past two years I have rented a slip at Uglys and the service has exceeded my expectations. I have had numberous service issues that have been rectified in just minutes. Most of these issues have occured on a Sat. morning and there has always been someone available to take care of the issue and get my family and I out on the water for the weekend.
